Each and every one of these Signature cymbals have been carefully handmade, following the ancient Turkish traditions of cymbal making. These Istanbul cymbals have been created with todays, modern music in mind, and music of the future.

Mr. Tamdeger began his journey into cymbal making as a young boy at nine years old. Mehmet started out by working for the Grandson of Kerope Zilcan (whom the popular Zildjian K Series was named after) and his knowledge expanded from here, learning all about ancient Turkish art and cymbal making from both Mikael Zilcan and Kirkor Kucukyan. The Mehmet Tamdeger 60th Anniversary ride cymbal has all the well-known qualities of original, traditional Turkish cymbals but with a new design to fit in with today's modern music. This special ride cymbal provides you with a dark and controlled overtone and great stick definition. This signature cymbal has a lovely mellow tone that will blend nicely into most musical genres.
